Damn. I finally got pictures from my South Island trip and I can’t blog about it. Why?!?
Work is so hectic. I go in early, finish late. Come back, dinner and all.. so tired already. Just wanna sit and relax.
And to add on to that, I got abit of tooth ache. I think my wisdom teeth is coming out..but this morning was a good morning eventhough I didn’t have enough of sleep. Had a dream so real, I believed it was true. Someone came into my room early this morning and sat on my bed. You know the feeling you get when you wake up and see the person you love sitting beside you? Like your mom, dad, family or good friends? Wish I could sleep longer and enjoy the moment. Work today was so busy, until I forgotten that I got tooth ache.
Enough complaining…I’m goin to get some work done. Nitey nite…wait! Wait! Now I feel like bloggin about it. If I continue to delay it, I’ll surely forget and end up too lazy to blog about it.
Alright…I’ll go like diary style..
28 June 2006
Left Auckland real early. Woke up as early as 5am to get ready as the shuttle came by to take me and David at 530am. Our flight was at 650am. Darn early right? What to do..cheap tickets mar..

Look at us. All ready and excited to fly down south.

So excited we kept on taking pictures on the plane. Look at me. Eyes goin to close liao. But I don’t know what David is doing lar? Staring into blankness…hmmm..i wonder?
Transit in Christchurch Airport. Look at that. Smaller than any airport in Malaysia man. Walk on the runway somemore. Feel abit like those celebrity going on planes while waving to the screaming fans. If you look at the plane carefully, it is powered by those big propellers.
After awhile. The excitement went down hill. Until…

I arrived at Dunedin! There was frost on the roads!! I was so excited, I started to slide down the hill.
The purpose of this trip for me was:
1) Girls….heheh kidding, Bersatu Games.
2) Friends.
3) Holiday.
4) and to at least experience snow fall.
As soon as I saw white, white stuff on the road, I was already so excited. And for the next few days, I kept on praying for snow fall. HEhehe…eventhough the weather was already quite cold.
Practically we didn’t do much on the first day, as we were pretty tired due to the lack of sleep the night before and the travelling.
We walked around the city and did some sightseeing before going back to Anthony’s house to rest. Anthony(David’s friend…and now my friend) was so kind to let us stay at his place for 5 days! What a guy.
After the nap, we were surely hungry. And where else to go have dinner when you are miles and miles away from your temporary home(Auckland), in a place you’ve never been before?
Good Old Trustable McDonald’s.
Dunedin at first to me was so small. But it is actually really nice. Everything was very near, central and convenient compared to any other cities in the South Island. But first impressions always like that one ler…

See! Can even pose in the middle of the road.
That reminds me of the story of meeting up with the girls. You see, me and David came earlier and the other 3 girls that are joining us for the holiday was arriving on the same day but later at night. However they didn’t arrive on time as the Otago Airport was so small and it was so late, the shuttle service was already finished when they arrived. They have to wait for another shuttle and while waiting the airport lights were shut down. Where got airport tutup kedai wan? And they were the only three around the airport. HEheh…what an experience it might have been.
But in the end they arrived safely. We met the girls and hanged out in Yet Tyng’s place, new friend of mine and friends of David, Zaf, Wei En and Yin.
My first day ends by walking back to Anthony’s house in very cold temperature and off to wonderland.
Alright…that’s for the first day. Don’t want to miss out anything. I wanna remember everything and laugh about it when I get old and grey.
Off I go now. Nitey nite world.
