UMSA BALL 2005

Last Saturday, I went to the UMSA Ball which was held in Langham Hotel.

The food was not bad, performances were very entertaining and the after party was pretty nice too. So overall, thumbs up. haha

I won’t talk that much, here are the photographs from that fun and enjoyable night.

Notice that I was one of the few that are under dressed?  Terrible. When I reach there, everyone was like in suits, tux and blazers. And the girls are like…Wow..

Anyway I had a good time at the ball and the after party. Get to make a couple of new friends somemore. SO isn’t that good? 

Oh, and to add to that, during the ball, there was lucky draws, me and rachel’s ticket number was called out and we received stuff from Body Shop & Red Earth. I went up twice to collect the prizes and feel a little paiseh..everyone looking at me( u know lar… stage fright) Hahah…until some even asked me to share the prizes with them because it was all women products.

The biggest draw was won by TX, it was a return ticket to Malaysia sponsored by MAS. How cool is that. Lucky fella.

One more thing, thank you Eugenie for loaning your car as well! If walk we die lor…

Haircut + Colour

Did my hair today for free again. But this is not the final look I guess cause I agreed for being as a model on Friday again.

The colour is toned down alot. I don’t know which one i prefer really. Kinda miss the old colour maybe because have got used to it. ARGHHhhhhh….What do you guys think? Need your help!!

MERDEKA ! MERDEKA ! MERDEKA ! MERDEKA !

Not that I do much during merdeka day, but I wished that I could hang out with my mates or just go to mamak. But I did just that with Vywen and Zara. We went to Mission Bay, K’Road, Ponsonby, Railway Campus ( hoping can celebrate with some Msian, but no luck) and also Foodtown. A good joy ride though. Watched Madagascar before crashing to bed.

Read the online papers today and it just makes me sad. Sad..

First story is about a mom that is paralysed waist down after she was involved in an accident. Later the husband died because of heart attack while her second son died in a car accident in 1997. Then recently her youngest son died in a car accident as well with four of his friends. How sad is that?! That is what I call a tragedy. Damn sad…just make me want to pray for her eventhough I don’t know how..That is really a strong lady, for those out there just facing some problems in life, wake up!! There is nothing that you can’t go thru. Toughen up!

The second news goes like this..

"On Wednesday, four armed men waylaid a
25-year-old Chinese secondary school outside her home in Ipoh Garden
and forced her to withdraw RM1,000 from an ATM.

Not satisfied, they took her back to her house and took her jewellery, laptop computer and her car.

She was then taken on a three-hour terror ride to Kundang, near Rawang, where two others were waiting.

She was repeatedly raped, assaulted and held by the men until 9pm and then abandoned by the roadside".

I have nothing to say…after reading this as well..so so sad…

Those guilty should have their dicks cut off, pour salt on it and let it bleed till their deaths. In the same time cut their tongues, fingers, hands, legs and let them die there. But of course we can’t do that. SO i hope when they are in jail, they should be rape by all the inmates.

I wish I could be the one that will give them their punishments..hope they burn in hell for what they did.

Today is Sam Chen’s Birthday! What to say about him leh?! hehehehe should I be mean or what?!

I say what I know and I’m going to be honest….heheheh

Sam is one year older than most of us, but he fits in with us just fine. Although he is older than me and the gang, he is like the younger one in the group. Why?! because we always bully him. We always tease him and make fun of him…haha but sometimes I know abit over lar…so Sam, if I ever terlebih with you, I’m so sorry yah? no hard feelings okay?! hehehe okay now to continue my teasing …aiks…hhehehe

Sam is well known because he is loud. When he is on stage, you don’t need a mic at all. He is the surround sound package! Mic + Speakers + Woofer = Sam. I remember once when we were practicing singing for campfire(scouts), we were required to sing really loud and in the end our scout leader asked Sam to take a break, while the others sing because he was the loudest of all.

Although his loud voice, Sam is a very nice guy. He is one hell of a caring guy. Always listening to your problems and crap. No matter what you say or do to him, he never gets angry…and always manage to crack us up with some stupid thing that he will say. When you need help at all, he will be there. One more thing, he is always smiling…always happy. Always making us happy and laughing.

Went thru my photograph albums and there are loads and loads of beautiful photos. Looking at those photos just makes me think back of all the happy memories and the good times we had both with family and friends.

Didn’t sleep last nite, till around 11am today. Anyway it was just for 2 hours plus and then back to class at 2pm. HAIHS…now feeling so sleepy, I totally deserve it lar. Got around 2 weeks to do my video post production assignment and I have to wait until the very last minute. 26 seconds of video took me 8 hours straight to finish up the work. Sat down seriously and began working on it at 10pm all the way till 8am this morning. Hand it up around 830am and attended class at 9am. Here is the assignment I did. It might look lousy as I have just learned this software…but it can really do lots of stuffs!

Anyways feel kinda proud today when I noticed that my last semester video assignment work is used as an example in the Digital Video Production class. But I don’t know whether it was used to show it is a good work or an example for students not to follow my steps, cause it will only lead to failure..heheheh which one leh? hmmm….

Been getting lazier this few days.Finishing my assignments pretty much at the last minute. YEap it is bad, but I will change, it is just that sometimes you don’t want to touch your work and just want to relax and laze around all day.

Been out almost half of the day. Went for the shopping trip organized by AUT Campus Events. We went to three places and to my suprise, it was pretty good. I never knew that there was ACTUALLY decent shopping places to go. First we went to OTARA markets. It was like a PASAR TANI, lots of vege, clothes  and almost everything. The things here was really cheap. Second destination we went to Botany Downs. It was like one of the best shopping place…..so many complexes all at one place. It reminds me of IKEA, IKANO, TESCO and the CURVE. It is pretty huge! The last stop was to Dress Smart in Onehunga. AGain…here has the cheapest branded stuff…unfortunately I didn’t buy anything cause there isn’t anything I needed. But I enjoyed the trip with Yen Ling, Ezra, Zara, Nat and Tomo.

Today’s weather was awesome. It wasn’t cold at all. It was a clear, bright and sunny day. Never had such a good weather for so so long. But one thing damn wasted is that there wasn’t FOOTBALL session. The only thing that I really really look forward during the weekends. All the kaki was not free at all…wasted.

HOwever…didn’t waste the beautiful weather and went outdoors for a short jog with Yen Ling in Albert Park. Felt good though…but people must be thinking…"Crazy ppl! winter liao, somemore in shorts and t-shirt only, SIAO Ar?! "

There is a Ball this weekend organized by the Union of Malaysian Students in Auckland this coming Saturday and I’m pretty tempted to go and have some good food and fun as well.(after David Liu tempted me few times) Hopefully meet some pretty girls. heheheh ( so girls, don’t be scared to approach me yah? cause I’m shy mar. ) ..Eh wait…who said I’m going…already think so far…the theme is black and white and I don’t even have a decent shirt! If I have decided to go ..should have shopped in Dress Smart today….Hmmmm anyway …still thinking about it…So far Rachel wants to go if I am going. SOoOOoooOoOo still deciding lor..ANYONE ELSE GOING?!

OOh..finally..I have the time to blog again…I am so god damn tired…

Anyway lets summarize my life for the past week..I’ve been through quite a busy and rough week.

Lets start with the topic about what you guys have heard and talked about recently. All I can say is, it was true. Yes it WAS true. But not anymore. Lets just say, I was confused and I wasn’t ready to open up my heart. Just want to apologize and I’m really sorry..so sorry. I feel like a god damn jerk man…like an asshole. Now I know why girls don’t trust guys…But I hope we could still be friends. So sorry ..

If you guys didn’t know about it, I guess you have some idea now and just keep it to yourself. Don’t ask me anymore.

This whole week is so busy. No time for sleep really. Got to work, assignments, work, assignments, work and on and on …finally today I think I will get some good rest, hopefully.

Lately I feel, that it is so nice to actually watch and just envy some of my friends that have found their other half. It is so sweet listening to their stories…I just feel so happy for them.

Hahahah…I think you know who you are…*winks*…all the best man! or woman…

I guess I’m meant to be single…until I have finally open up and love again.
