Was there with Hwei Gjin, Won(Yean’s Korean Friend) and Yean. The shoe is nice right? It was stolen by some %$#@*& asshole. It was Yean’s. Sigh..
Sunday, 11 Dec @ 21st Birthday Party
As mentioned previously, I attended a 21st birthday party and it was great. I mean of course not at first as there was a huge bunch of people that you have never met before. You know what I’ll do when I’m in a big group. Crawl, hide and shut up….LOL.
Luckily there was some people that are familiar and of course, I chose to sit with those I knew. We had dinner and there was ice-cream for desserts..complimentary from Wei En, the Birthday Girl. Then we headed somewhere else for coffee and ended up at railway campus(Auckland Uni Student Accommadations).
It was there I got to know some nice friendly people through playing games. We played Mafia. Some of you might have heard of it but I totally sucked at it. I can’t lie at all. They can see thru me. But it is nice when a group of strangers just comes together and play games and joke and just laugh. You might even not remember their names(I do btw) but you just feel that nice lil feeling in you. Somehow you know they are all good ppl. But they are great liars though, hahahah no offence yah.
Monday, 12 Dec @ Real Groovy U2 Ticket Sales
At around 230am I headed back home, thank you Mr Shaun for sending me. Rushed home, grabbed a bottle of water, some cookies, cards and my jacket and was out again. I was doing the graveyard shift for standing(was sitting actually) in line for the ticket sales of U2 VERTIGO Concert.
Reached there and took over Mr Yohei’s place. Really have to THANK Mr Yohei as he started lining up since 1pm. Sent Yohei back and sat with Mark and Richard. Two middle aged guys. They were so nice. They offer us a place in the tent to rest and keep our stuffs. But I wasn’t tired so I just sat outside with them and listened to all their stories. Believe me it was really interesting.
Mark and Richard shared their sex stories, how they got lucky during work, during vacations when they are pissed drunk and all. It sure gave me a good laugh. Richard farted throughout the whole night. That was entertaining as well and he claims that he was just clearing his throat. LOL. Richard told me how he lost some of his fingers in an accident, how he nearly came to drowning and all.
In the middle of the night there was group of people that just started screaming and ran along the line. There was a pissed drunk girl running up and down singing Kelly Clarkson’s - Breakaway. It was horrible though. There was a cop that came and joked to us that the concert was canceled. In the end he gave us some chocolates. How nice. Strangers just come together, helping each other and having fun. Just like the party earlier. The world needs more people like this.
One more IMPORTANT THING TO ADD! THANKS KIM for smsing me!! She knew I was lining up, she send me a sms all the way back from sweet old MalaysiA!!! THank you dear…IT Gave me so much energy and a smile on my face! Hugs!
Honestly this is a really sucky entry. I don’t know what I want to write about.
The most important thing is I got the U2 tickets. It was really something. You got to be there to feel it. The long wait till the time you get the tickets. It was something I tell you. It gave me energy and I lasted till 4pm on Monday.
Tuesday, 12 Dec @ Muriwai Beach
Went to Muriwai Beach around 45 mins away from the city with Gjin and her sis. It was a nice place. First time being there. The beach has black sand. How cool is that. Black shiny sand. But when it gets on your body, it looks like you just fall into some mud or something. Lol. I tried boogie boarding for the first time. You lie on a board and try to catch a wave(water was freezing). It was fun, I caught the wave once. Considered good for first timer. HEHEE..so Happy. THank you Gjin and Sis for teaching and bringing me there.
That was my weekend plus some of the weekdays updates. Pics will be loaded soon. Miss my camera. I need to ask around for pictures. Anyway lots more to update. Lol
