am-i-darren

I am currently working now at Salad Works. It is sort of like a salad bar, something like subway. I am a salad maker there. That means i make up salads like how subway make up sandwiches. For now this is my temporary job until I get a job related to my major. So yeah… I am a salad maker.

I do not know why today I feel so tired. I slept early and well yesterday but when I woke up, I just feel so exhausted and unmotivated. One reason is I think is because I had a bad and sad dream. It was weird. In that dream i dreamt of a bad dream and then I woke up for work feeling sad all but I was still sleeping and dreaming. Something like a dream in a dream. If u get what I mean.

Secondly, the weather sucks today as well. It was raining the whole day. Got wet getting to work. Got wet coming back. The wind was so strong that when I waited for a bus today one of the window building broke and fell to the ground near to the bus stop. The glasses were flying everywhere. Thank god it didn’t hit me.

Thirdly maybe it is because chinese new year is already here. Just a few more days. I am here all alone. SIgh..no good food, no friends, no relatives to visit, no big dinners, no gambling, no laughing, no fireworks and there is even no chinese new year cards. I mean chinese new year cards that I can buy to send to you guys back home. Somemore it is a bloody big bookstore and they dont bloody sell CNY cards. WTF?! So sorry…no cny cards and too late to reach in time now. =(

And just a moment ago, I deleted pictures that I wanted to post up here. How my work place look like. I guess now, you guys have to just use your imaginations.

Also thinking whether I should go to some Festival this Saturday in Hamilton with David and Jeremy. Just an hour away from the city for a festival called Parachutes. One part say go, because nothing to do and good experience. Another part say, ahhh stay home lar, save money. Chinese new year. HOW?

I’m tired. Will post pics up tomorrow. Hopefully.
